The Vindication Foundation is dedicated to fight for individuals who are falsely accused and wrongfully convicted. Ultimately being a catalyst for exonerations of the innocent. Inspired by our founder, Greg Kelley’s journey from wrongful conviction to exoneration. We raise awareness and prevent miscarriages of justice through education, community engagement and advocacy. We aim to do all of this through embracing marathons and ultra marathons as a symbol of the ENDURANCE needed both behind bars and in the fight for justice, our efforts exemplify the resilience required to overcome such profound adversity. Leveraging personal experiences and the power of public engagement, we aim to bridge the gap between despair and hope, injustice and redemption. The Vindication Foundation stands as a testament to the belief that endurance in the face of injustice can lead to the ultimate victory: freedom and vindication.

Greg Kelley is an American entrepreneur, inventor, Ultra marathon runner, former NCAA division 1 football player, husband, soon to be father, Texan and Exoneree of the state of Texas.

Growing up playing football in high school, he was fortunate enough to receive multiple Division 1 full-ride athletic scholarships. The road to college football seemed bright for Greg until he was thrown into a nightmare of injustice that derailed his entire life and stole his freedom. After many long years of fighting to prove his innocence, he is now fully exonerated and enjoying freedom. He married his high school sweetheart, Gaebri, who was his biggest supporter from day one. Since gaining his freedom, Greg created a small business with the skills he learned while he was wrongfully incarcerated and also achieved his hopes and dreams of playing Division 1 college football at Eastern Michigan University.

Greg is currently the owner and creator of Tomahawk Targets - Axe Throwing. He is continuing his education at The University of Texas where he is majoring in Kinesiology and minoring in entrepreneurship through the McCombs schoool of business. With the unfortunate series of events that happened to him in his life he has chosen to create beauty out of ashes and share his story with the world in a positive light through his podcast- “The Get Back”, speaking engagements, Prison ministry and his foundation. Greg plans on writing a book about his story and giving God all the glory as he allows his Faith to guide him every step of the way.
